Files
A file should still be a file.
In every chat app, your group’s files are attachments — stapled to a message, sorted by nothing, findable only by scrolling toward where you think March was. In TinyHubs, files are the point.
Every file has a home
A file lives somewhere — the hub, a channel, or your own space — and its home sets who sees it. Share it into another channel or to a person without re-uploading: one canonical file, many access paths, and an access panel that answers “who can see this?” in plain language.
Versions happen automatically
Upload a file with the same name and it becomes the next version — the choir’s chart, the team roster, the bylaws draft. History is kept, any version downloads, and “which one is current” always has exactly one answer.
All Files: one view of everything
Everything you’re allowed to see, in one list — searchable by name and filterable by uploader, type, date, folder, and size. This is the direct answer to “our stuff disappears into chat.”
Soft delete, real export
Deleted files go to a bin before they go anywhere. And the whole library exports as a zip whenever the group wants it — no exit interview.
